Fresh Coats By Maurice

Maurice first started painting in 2007 in Jamaica.

He was first inspired by a close friend who took him under his wing, as a way to help him earn some money in Jamaica. He quickly found that he really enjoyed painting, and was good at it too.

When Maurice came to Canada he realized that he could use those same skills and passion to make an income for his family. He wanted to learn more about the industry in Canada so he began working for contractors and other painters and learned as much as he could about painting in Canada. Then came the time to open his own company, Fresh Coats By Maurice which was founded in 2021 at the height of a global pandemic. That did not slow him down or discourage him and he stayed motivated by working hard at building the business. Clients quickly noticed his integrity and passion and knew they found a painter that took pride in providing quality work.

Maurice really enjoys seeing the different colours of paint people choose, meeting new people from all walks of life and different cultures, and hearing their stories. He loves helping them decide on what the best choice would be for their homes and businesses. When we asked Maurice what he loves most he said....

"The absolute most rewarding is seeing their faces light up when I am finished, it really is amazing how some fresh coats of paint can really brighten up someone's life, that is why I do what I do and love it!" -Maurice
